Editorial policy
Local Community Hub aims to make local civic subjects understandable without overstating what is known. Our editorial approach is to explain terms, give context and make the limits of an article clear.
Accuracy and context
We check claims against suitable, available material and take care to distinguish established facts from interpretation. Where procedures or responsibilities vary by place, we say so rather than presenting one arrangement as universal. Our articles are general explanations, not instructions for a specific local case.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding. A partner or contributor does not receive control over independent coverage. We do not imply endorsement of a policy, organisation or position merely by explaining it.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or an important omission, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted; significant changes are described in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, commissioned or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where relevant, that use is identified so readers can distinguish an illustration from documentary imagery.
